Short Bio
For the past 24 years Brant Pickard has been involved in the music industry in one form or another. Starting at Fitzgerald High School in the Show Choir and guitar class, he began to hone his craft as a guitarist, pianist, and song writer. After High School he was a member of Ignited and Elijah Ride (Christian Rock), and began to lead worship at the churches where he served as Youth Pastor and Worship Leader for the next 10 years.
In 2004 he became a Sound Engineer and for the past 13 years he has provided sound production for national artists such as Skillett, Matthew West, Pat Greene, Blackfoot, Shenandoah, John Anderson, and most recently Raelynn.
Brant is happily married to his wife Heather. They have one daughter, Maddie, a dog, Dean, and three cats, Patch, Leo, and Lil’ Bit. When he’s not running sound or playing music, you can find him out in his barn making things out of old pallets.
Music Influences
From an early age, Brant has listened to many different genres of music. Growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s bands like Def Leopard, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam helped shape his hair metal/grunge side while 90’s country artists like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Travis Tritt, and Diamond Rio helped solidify the melodic lyrics of real life that would become a cornerstone of his writing. When Brant answered the call into full-time Youth Ministry, artists such as Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Casting Crowns, and Mercy Me shaped not only his writing style for worship music but also his worship leading style.
On stage, Brant combines all of these influences to bring life, energy, and humor to the audience. Whether he is playing acoustic music at a local restaurant or leading worship on a Wednesday night, he gives 100% no matter how many people are in attendance.
New Album Coming Soon
March of 2018 Brant started a project that he has always wanted to take on; an album that tells a story from the first track to the last. In August demos of the songs were cut, and now tracks are being laid for the project. “Memphis & June” will be his first major recording project in over ten years and is expected to be completed this Spring.

For me, the best part of playing a show is connecting with the audience. I love talking to people, hearing about their favorite songs and the reason that song means so much to them. It is always great to see familiar faces in the crowd when I take the stage. The best way to keep up with where I will be playing is to join my mailing list. Enter your name and email address in the form to the left and you will be added to my list. When I book new shows, release downloads, or make any kind of news-worthy announcements you will be the first to know!
